Not Your Typical Gift Guide: Thoughtful Gifts for Everyone on Your List

Tis the season to wish for, give, and receive thoughtful gifts from loved ones. At Savvy Sloth Strategies, we’re huge fans of intentional and useful gifts—because, let’s be honest, anything else is just clutter! This year, we’re sharing ideas to help you give meaningful gifts (or add to your own wish list) that truly keep on giving without overwhelming your space or your mind. This list includes items we own, have gifted, received as gifts, or treated ourselves to. I also included a few that are on my wish list this year.

From reducing the mental load to fostering better work-life balance, these gifts are perfect for anyone needing a little more calm, organization, or self-care. Happy gifting!

  • These gifts preserve cherished memories without adding clutter to your space:

    • Artkive:  Turn kids’ artwork or sentimental photos into keepsake books that organize and celebrate precious memories. These are also great for transforming piles of cards into a functional piece you’ll actually review and use to see the cards.

    • Framebridge: Custom framing made simple. Perfect for showcasing meaningful photos, prints, or mementos in a beautiful and functional way. Ditch the shoebox or drawer full of memorabilia and instead frame it so you can see it and cherish those memories that much more.

  • These gifts are ideal for busy women who feel lost, stuck, or fed up with where they are.Any or all of these will point them in the right direction and give them the clarity they need:

    • Do It For Yourself book: This is a guided journal meant to help you tackle your biggest goals. I bought this when I was launching Savvy Sloth, and it really helped me focus and stay motivated. The book is filled with exercises to reorient your outlook, overcome roadblocks, and create forward motion.

    • Full focus planner: Built from the latest science in productivity and goal-setting, The Full Focus Planner helps you prioritize and achieve your goals. With a simple three-step system, you can connect your big annual goals to your daily actions so you’re always making progress. Over 100,000 successful customers agree: The Full Focus Planner ends daily overwhelm and multiplies success. And if the planner isn’t your cup of tea, start with their free life focus assessment to begin your goal-setting journey.

    • Savvy Sloth Marketing Gift Card: I would be remiss if I didn’t include our Savvy Sloth Giftcards! Our Marketing gift card is perfect for anyone looking to stand out in the new year. There is an option for individuals developing their personal brand and small business owners needing clarity on their next move.

  • These are our go-to relaxation and self-care gift ideas. Legit, any mom or corporate professional who needs a real break and rest could benefit from any or all of these.

    • Calm or Headspace Subscription: Now, I know some healthcare providers offer these for free ( like I have Kaiser, and they do), but if your healthcare provider doesn’t include these in your insurance, gift this to yourself or someone who needs to zen out. These apps are perfect for meditation beginners and allow you to fit mindfulness into your day easily.

    • Rest is Resistance Book: I recently read this book, and it will get you so pumped to rest that it’s not even funny. This book discusses why rest is not a luxury but a human right. I highly recommend this book to anyone feeling burnt out or not knowing how to relax or why it’s necessary.

    • Sleep Mask: I firmly believe in setting the stage for relaxation. If relaxing and resting is hard for you, it may mean your environment isn’t relaxing enough. A good sleep mask will get you to a more relaxed state solely because it will block out anything distracting or preventing you from getting those good Zs.

    • Hatch Clock: I used to use a cell phone as your alarm girly, too, and let me tell you, it never worked. The only thing it did effectively was annoy everyone with all my snooze alarms. Enter the hatch alarm clock; this clock mimics the sunrise, acts as a sound machine, and looks aesthetically pleasing. I also love the alarm sounds, which can be more traditional or soothing, depending on your vibe. I love how it naturally puts me to sleep and wakes me up.

    • Cervical Pillow: This is another purchase I didn’t expect to change my life, but it did! A cervical pillow cradles your head and neck so you can comfortably sleep on your back and side. Before this pillow, I took forever to fall asleep, always had a sore neck, and honestly never had a restful sleep.

  • These gifts cover some common organizational woes for all the busy professionals in your life.

    • Password Manager Subscription: A password manager is the most thoughtful gift for staying organized in 2025. Legit every site, app, and internet-enabled device requires a password, and it can be overwhelming to manage without a manager. I love Dashlane, and it honestly keeps me sane. It will generate secure passwords for you, save them, and sync them to multiple devices ( laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc). Ditch remembering every password or, god forbid, writing down passwords on Post-its; with a manager, you just need to remember one password to log in, and the manager takes care of the rest.

    • Container Store Gift Card: If organizing is genuinely on their wishlist get them a gift card to the mecca of organizing products! This store only sells organizing products, so the temptation to spend the funds on other things is eliminated with this gift card. I love buying products from Target and Amazon, but a gift card to those stores may not go to the cause if you know what I mean.

    • Savvy Sloth Home Organizing Gift Card: You betcha I’m including our other Savvy Sloth Gift card. This gift card is geared towards organizing any space in your home! It's perfect for anyone ( I legit mean anyone, Moms, Sisters, Friends, Partners, you name it!) who is battling their clutter every day or just doesn’t have the time to do it themselves. Depending on the size of the area needing organization, there are options for half-day and full-day organizing. The only caveat with this gift card is that the person receiving it must be located in the DC, MD, or  VA area.

  • These gifts are based on items that have helped me focus. I hope they help any recipient as well.

    • Toasty: You’ve seen her featured on my Instagram, and I honestly can’t take the credit for finding this cutie. This light is a viral sensation that can be used for many things, but I use it as a focus light. When the light is on it tells me and everyone around me that I am focusing; when it’s off it’s time for a break. Since working from home, this has been a game changer for me.

    • Cube Timer: A cube timer is exactly what you need to give yourself some boundaries around focusing. You turn the cube to the time allotment you need, and when it dings you’re done. This is an excellent gift for kids as well!

    • Sunsama: The perfect subscription service for our corporate girlies who have a lot on their plate as well as an active calendar. You can sync several project management services and calendar apps with Sunsama, and it will create a schedule for you to tackle everything while also making time for breaks and relaxation.  I love this app and allows me to have the balance I crave without feeling overwhelmed or burnout.

  • Gifts for the luxurious ladies in your life!

    • Spa Finder Gift Card: With this gift card, your loved one can enjoy manis-pedis, massage, haircuts, blow drys, wellness retreat getaways, and many other services at locations near them. Also, it makes your life easier because you don’t have to find a local spa for them. Spa Finder connects with so many spas that they are bound to find one and cash this baby in in no time.

    • Shower Steamers: If the Spa isn’t within budget, bring the spa to them with shower steamers. I received these as a gift two Christmases ago, and now they are a repeat purchase in our home. It turns your everyday shower into a luxurious experience that chills you out. I legit can’t shower without these.

    • Skincare Set: There is so much noise about skincare, and most of the products don’t work or are unnecessary ( which leads to cluttered bathroom counters). So ditch the clutter on your counter and get a solid cleanser and moisturizer set. I am a huge fan of Anua, a Korean skincare line. Since switching to their products, my skin has been clearing up and is relatively blemish-free. But of course always do your research and consult a professional before purchasing any skin care products. I am not a dermatologist, but I know you don’t need 10+ products for your face.

    • Body Scrub: There are so many body scrubs to choose from but this is my go-to in addition to the $5 one from Trader Joe's. Scrubs again, bring the spa to your home, and soften your skin! You can also make your scrubs and gift them, but I haven’t tried that yet.

    • Body Wash Set: A luxurious body wash set is such a thoughtful gift because, again, you’re creating a spa experience for the recipient, and most of the time, folks won’t splurge on this for themselves. This set is my favorite one from Salt and Stone.

  • These gifts are great for someone starting on their fitness journey or even seasoned fitness girlies.

    • Bala Bands: These bands come in 1 lb or 2 lbs and are the perfect addition to a walking or pilates routine. I also wear these around the house when I am cleaning or doing my hair to turn everything into a workout.

    • ClassPass/Peloton Subscription: Whether your loved one loves a workout experience at home or at a studio, these two subscriptions will provide them with many options. Classpass allows them to try out new studios in their city, and Peloton offers many workouts that you can do with or without Peloton equipment. I also adore the Peloton instructors and their programming (they're launching a Wicked-themed class, and I am excited about it).

    • Yeti: A decent water bottle that keeps your water cold is necessary for anyone on a fitness journey. I am a millennial, and taking my emotional support water bottle everywhere is just how I was raised, but I do not go anywhere without my Yeti. You don’t have to go Yeti; there are plenty of other brands ( owala, Stanley, Hydro Flask, etc.), but the bottom line is that a nice water bottle will make anyone’s day! And who knows, they might ditch all the other canisters junking up their cabinets.

    • Ag1 Subscription: Ensuring you get the proper nutrients is critical to any fitness routine. I swear by AG1 and enjoy its taste and how it makes me feel.

    • Walking Pad: This is definitely a splurge item but we are heading into colder months so a walking pad will pay for itself. Get your steps in while working, watching TV, or reading from the comfort of your house. This is going on my wish list :).
